Scholarship for postgraduate studies in “E-Business and Digital Marketing” in the University of Western Macedonia for Greek speaking students from North Macedonia.
The Department of Management Science and Technology of the University of Western Macedonia organizes for the 5th year, the Postgraduate Studies Program (MSc), entitled «E-business and Digital Marketing”, and is offering a full scholarship for one postgraduate student from North Macedonia.
The purpose of the master’s degree is to provide training in the organization, creation, and management of modern businesses that are active in e-business, the integration of e-business techniques in traditional businesses, and the use of modern digital marketing techniques by businesses and organizations in the private and public sector, providing specialized and applied scientific education and research on contemporary e-business, startups, and digital marketing issues and practices.
The program leads to a Master’s Degree of Specialization (M.Sc.) in “E-business and Digital Marketing”, after the completion of the (90) ECTS (European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) according to the current European system of transfer and accumulation of credits.
The duration of the Master’s Degree Program is three (3) semesters of study, where postgraduate students take classes during the first two semesters and write their postgraduate thesis in the third semester.
The program is distant learning for the 90% of the lectures and in person for the 10% of the lectures. The courses are taught in Greek, except for the thesis, where students may choose to write it in English.

Moreover, the program offers several additional opportunities for postgraduate students, including participation in scientific conferences, international exchange programs with universities abroad, and the ability to take internships abroad in firms and organizations.
The choice of applicant that will receive the scholarship will be based on academic criteria (degree, knowledge of Greek and English, publications) and a short interview.
Applicants for the scholarship should submit the following to the secretariat of the program (ebdm@uowm. gr):
- Application for admission to the MSc on a special form, including a photo ID, along with a cover letter explaining the reasons for their application.
- Detailed curriculum vitae.
- A copy of their degree
- Two Recommendation Letters.
- Copies of publications (if any).
- Certificate of proficiency in Greek and English languages and any other additional foreign language if applicable.
- Other certificates (e.g., professional experience, attendance of training programs, etc.) for items mentioned in their CV are detailed in their application.
- A photocopy of your Identity Card or Passport.
- One (1) photo ID.
The scholarship will cover the fees for the three semesters of studies (2,500,00 €), and any publication or participation fees to a conference (up to 600,00€), if the recipient publishes or presents any postgraduate research work, he/she conducted for the need of the program.
